Bassoon Workshop at Tanglewood
In the summer of 2008, Matthew Ruggiero led a two-week Bassoon Workshop for Boston University's Tanglewood Institute. Students from various parts of the U.S. came to learn about practicing strategies, preparing for auditions, making and adjusting reeds, and they also gained experience in performing in bassoon ensembles. This is another example of how the Boston Woodwind Society reaches out to students far and wide.
